Yes, this is possible by using the RS232 Add-on element of PADS. In the PADS Designer application you can place an RS232 element on a page of your PADS presentation. At the properties of the element you can specify which RS232 commands need to be sent by this element as soon as the page becomes active.
When your display supports it you can automatically switch off your display at a predefined time in this way.
