The PADS Software Development Kit (SDK) offers the complete functionality of PADS Professional as a collection of programmable objects.
Simply said the PADS SDK is the functionality of the PADS system without the user interface of the end user applications like PADS Designer, PADS Manager and PADS Viewer.
The PADS SDK enables software developers to supply their customers with in-house developed tailor made solutions that are based on the PADS software.
Some examples of solutions that can be developed with the PADS SDK:
- An application that automatically shows an evacuation message on all displays in case of a fire alarm notification.
- A custom PADS Viewer application to control a character based LED display.
